I built, maintained, and evolved the Axi Design System to give every team a single source of truth for components, patterns, and interaction standards.

A design system is only as good as its adoption. I established contribution guidelines that allowed product teams to propose new components, documented usage and anti-patterns for every component, and ran regular alignment sessions with engineering leads to ensure design and code stayed in sync.

The design system became the backbone of Axi's product development. New features that previously required weeks of design and engineering groundwork could be assembled from existing components in a fraction of the time. Cross-team consistency improved measurably — and when Axi Crypto and the ATP Mobile redesign launched, they were built almost entirely on system components.
